Welcome To Bob Cordes' Trophy Brook Trout Guiding

The Brook Trout Lakes:

During the summer, I guide for Brook Trout, Walleye and Northern Pike. You are welcome to contact me any time of year.

In the winter, I guide guests into secret Trophy Brook Trout Lakes (Speckled Trout) for the best ice fishing you can possibly imagine. These secret cold spring lakes are deep into the bush, surrounded by miles of swamp and bog and only accessible during the winter when the swamp freezes over. It is impossible to access these lakes during the summer. If you tried to find these lakes in the winter without a guide, you would get lost.

The Size of the Brook Trout:

The only people ever to fish these Trophy Brook Trout Lakes are people I guide into them. As a result, the Brook Trout in these Lakes are three times the size of what most people consider a trophy. They are common in the 2 to 6 pound range with giant Brook Trout over 9 pounds being caught.

Summer Guiding:

Accommodations:

I only take a limited number of people. Mary Ann and I do this part time to make a little extra money in the winter. Guests stay in our wilderness log home and are invited to freely use all amenities. Mary Ann will cook delicious home cook meals and have them waiting for us when we get back out of the bush.

What You Need:

When you reserve with us for a few days of ice fishing, I will go over your fishing equipment and your clothes to make sure you are prepared. I will give you a list of what you need to bring.

Most guests bring their own snowmobiles. If you do not have your own, we will make arrangements for other transportation.

American Plan Ice Fishing Rates:

$175 US per day, which includes all your meals and guiding. $150 US per day without meals.

Contact Us:

We are too remote for Internet so we can not get email. We are located in the Hawk Junction / Wawa area so it's easy to find us. Please give us a call at (705) 889-2047

Best Regards
Bob & Mary Ann
