Fox's Den Lodge
is located on the famous Dog Lake, which is considered one of the top Walleye and Lake Trout lakes in Ontario and also boasts outstanding Northern Pike, Perch and Smallmouth Bass fishing. Dog Lake is fed by the Lochalsh River and the Dog River and is the headwaters for the Michipicoten River. The lake is constantly supplied with fresh nutrient water and is literally a game-fish factory. Walleyes are plentiful and are available in all sizes including 10lbs+ trophies. Lake Trout are common in the 5 to 15lbs range but grow to monster sizes with 30lbs+ being caught. Northern Pike are common in the 5 to 15 pound range with 20lbs trophies being caught and released throughout the spring, summer and fall. 3 and 4lbs Smallmouth Bass are common and found all along the shore and overtop of shoals. All this great fishing is complemented by relaxing in warm and cozy lakefront cabins with all the comforts of home. Cabins are fully equipped for housekeeping. Andorra Lodge & Cottage Rentals is located north of Temagami North, Ontario on Net Lake, which has the best fishing in the Temagami area and many times better than Lake Temagami or the Marten River. Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout and Smallmouth Bass are found in good numbers and good sizes. There are also many other lakes in the area that you can drive to with good fishing. On Net Lake, trophy size fish for all species are available but the common sizes that you can expect to catch are; Walleyes-3 pounds, Northern Pike – 6-8 pounds, Lake Trout- 4-8 pounds and Smallmouth Bass – 3-6 pounds. Thunderhook Fly-ins & Smooth Rock Camp
is located north of Armstrong and in the heart of the best Lake Trout fishing in Ontario. They offer multiple fly-in outpost camps to choose from on remote lakes and a fly-in lodge. They offer lakes with great Lake Trout fishing. Lake Trout actively change their depth throughout the year to find cooler water as the heat of the summer moves in so you will have to contact Thunderhook for details on where to find Lakers during the summer if you are not an experienced lake Trout hunter. In the spring and fall Lake Trout are easier to find and just under the surface and are usually caught by guests who are Walleye fishing. Guests purposely targeting Lake Trout with the right techniques should be able to get 3 to 6 nice Lake Trout on an average day and maybe even a big Brook Trout. The Lake Trout are most common in the 1 to 5 pound range but trout as big as 30 pounds have been caught on Thunderhook’s lakes. Wassiagomin Lodge
is located in beautiful Lochalsh Bay on Dog Lake and not too far from the outpost settlement of Missanabie in Ontario. Dog Lake has awesome fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Perch and Lake Trout. The Lochalsh Bay area is deeper than other parts of the lake thus producing more Walleye and Lake Trout and bigger Walleye and Lake Trout. All species of fish are common in all sizes but Dog Lake’s claim to fame is the availability of trophies. Walleyes reach over 10 pounds. Lake Trout reach over 30 pounds. Pike get over 20 pounds and Smallmouth Bass in the 3 to 5 pound range are common with the odd 6-pounder being caught. There is also great Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass fishing. It’s just a short boat ride to another part of the lake where Pike and Bass are more common and found in great sizes. Lake Nipigon Charters
is operated by Darren Goodman. Darren was born on the lake and is a 3rd generation professional guide bringing guests the very best Brook Trout (Speckled Trout) and Lake Trout fishing in the World. Nipigon is the home of the World Record Brook Trout and still the best place on earth for both numbers and giant Brook Trout. Brook trout in the 1 to 4-pound range are common but monsters over 7 pounds are available. Once in a while 10-pounders get caught. Lake Trout fishing is just as good as the Yukon, Alaska or the Arctic without the ridiculous cost. Lake Trout are common up to 20 pounds with a few every year in the 30 to 40-pound range. On occasion Lake Trout in the 50-pound class get caught. Lake Nipigon’s record for Lake Trout is 62 pounds but the MNR have netted bigger ones. Charter starts at the docks in the town of Nipigon. You will be fishing off a very comfortable and safe 45-foot fishing trawler.

Manitou Weather Station Fishing Lodge is very unique as they have combined luxurious accommodations with the remote adventure of a fly-in. You can also boat to their lodge but it's a trip. They are located on Lower Manitou Lake, which is stuffed with Lake Trout. Not only can you catch tons of Lake Trout, they have guests catching big 20-pounders. Some guests have caught their limit right off the dock. Lower Manitou Lake is also stuffed with monster size Muskie. They also have excellent fishing for Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass. Camp Manitou is located on Lower Manitou Lake, which is one of the best Lake Trout Lakes in the world and a top Lake Trout destination in Ontario. Clearwater Lodge
is located on Clearwater Lake near Emo, Ontario, which is a chain of 20 lakes including Pipestone Lake. The water that their guests enjoy is stuffed with Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass and Lake Trout. High numbers of big Walleyes and Bass are available as well as Monster Muskie and Northern Pike in the 15 to 25-pound range, which are frequent. The deep holes in the open areas of the lake hold Lake Trout of many sizes, which includes good-eating sizes up to 30-pound Lunkers. Pan fish such as Perch and Crappie are also available. Happy Day Lodge is located on Windermere Lake, which is one of the best fishing lakes in the Chapleau area. Walleye fishing is excellent for both high numbers and trophy size. There are also lots of Smallmouth Bass ranging from small to large trophies off all the rock points. The lake is just swarming with Walleye and Smallmouth bass. What makes Windermere Lake unique and a top lake is the monster Northern Pike and massive Lake Trout. Both Northern Pike and Lake Trout over 20 pounds are caught on a regular basis with 25-pound and even 30-pound pike and trout caught throughout the summer.
